Cast stands for Creative Automatic Story Teller. Cast is a Artificial Intelligence system capable of building creative stories. Stories Cast generates both story plots and story discourses basing on how readers understand stories. Using a complex emotional and cognitive model, this storytelling system builds small stories using a domain-idependent algoritm.
Cast is still under heavy development, but this is an example of a short story it has fully produced:
Story: John hated Michael. John was in the kitchen. the shovel was in the kitchen. Michael was in the kitchen. John killed Michael because John hated Michael. John wanted to hide Michael. John took the shovel. John went to the yard. John dug the yard. John dropped the shovel. John went to the kitchen. John took Michael. John buried Michael because John wanted to hide Michael.
